It is important that medical students, interns, residents and cardiology fellows are able to critically determine appropriate diagnostic procedures and therapies in the management or prevention of acute coronary syndromes.

This website has been created to assist medical practitioners in clinical decision making and therapeutics based on the recent ACC/AHA Guidelines put together by acknowledged experts in cardiology. This website attempts to define practices that meets the needs of most patients in most circumstances. However, it must be remembered that the ultimate judgment regarding the care of a particular patient must be made by the physician in light of all circumstances presented by that patient.
