General Instructions for Using the Program
Note: this program only runs on a PC.

Click on one of the options below to use this program:
a) I want to use the program in the LRC or FSSC.
b) I want to use the program in one of the UMMC student call rooms.
c) I want to DOWNLOAD a version of the program for use on a computer. Recommended for home use.
d) I want to use a WEB version of the program on my own personal computer.
Downloading the EBM program for use in the LRC/FSSC or another computer

1) If you are on a computer in the Learning Resource Center or the Furstenberg Student Study Center or if you wish to download the program as opposed to running the program via the web, click here to download the program.

Follow the instructions below, starting at 1a, to download and run the program.

Note: you will need to be using a computer with the Windows Operating System.

1a) A dialog box will appear. Click "Run."

1b) Another dialog box will appear. Click "Run."

1c) Another dialog box will appear. Click "OK" to place the program folder on your desktop (recommended for LRC/FSSC computers), or click "Browse" to place the program folder in the location of your choosing.

 

1d) The EBM Program folder will appear on your desktop. Double click on it to open it up.

 

1e) Double click on "start.exe" to run the program.

Running the program from the Web or the UMMC Student Call Rooms
2)  If you wish to run the program from the web and you are in one of the student computers in the UMMC call rooms (click here for locations), click here to launch the program. 
3)  If you wish to run the program from the web on your personal computer, you must first download and install the Web Player for Authorware (click here and follow the instructions). Internet Explorer 6.0 or above is recommended. Also, this program only works on a computer with a Windows Operating System.
4) Once the Authorware Plug-In has been installed,click on EBM to start.
5)  SECURITY: When launching the program you will be asked if you "want to trust this file?" Answer YES. If you do not answer YES you will not be able to run the program.
