About the Pulmonary Rehabilitation Program
Pulmonary Rehabilitation is an important way to reduce the impact of chronic lung disease. The Pulmonary Rehabilitation Program at the University of Michigan Health System is an eight week program, where experts provide a supportive, attentive, and compassionate environment to help individuals with pulmonary disease improve their lives. If you have a breathing disorder, you may be a candidate for the Pulmonary Rehabilitation Program. Adults diagnosed with chronic lung diseases may benefit from this type of therapy, as would those who are considering or have undergone lung surgery including lung transplantation.
