The University of Michigan is a leader in the evaluation and management of chronic lung disease.  Patients seen in this clinic will have the option to participate in National Institutes of Health and pharmaceutical sponsored clinical trials to manage interstitial lung diseases and chronic obstructive pulmonary diseases.  Patients will be provided with state of the art evaluation and treatment approaches to these important chronic diseases. 

The Dyspnea Clinic also evaluates patients for lung transplantation and lung volume reduction surgery.  Please visit the Transplant Program Web site for further information.
