The Division of Pulmonary and Critical Care Medicine (PCCM) accepts referrals for evaluation and treatment of patients who have or are suspected of having acute or chronic respiratory disease.

This clinic is staffed by pulmonologists from the Department of Internal Medicine at the University of Michigan Medical Center. Major areas of interest include: chronic obstructive pulmonary disease, asthma, lung cancer evaluation, pulmonary fibrosis, sarcoidosis and other chronic diffuse interstitial lung diseases, pulmonary embolic disease, sleep apnea, occupational lung diseases, pleural diseases, tuberculosis and other chronic pulmonary infections.
