Pulmonary Rehab Harmonica Class Seeks Participants
It doesn't matter if you're tone deaf, or if you can't read music, or if you haven't picked up a musical instrument since you played the recorder in fourth grade - - if you need help with your breathing, you are invited to join the Pulmonary Rehab harmonica class.
The class meets at 11 a.m. every Tuesday at 250 West Eisenhower, #130 (across from Briarwood Mall and next to National City Bank and behind Community Bank).
Doctors and nurses are encouraged to tell their patients about the class, which involves breathing exercises and the playing of simple songs. People who currently take the class say it has helped them improve their breathing - - and besides that, it's a lot of fun. For more information, please contact Jane Bon at janebon@med.umich.edu or (734) 998-8723.
