Major Research Interests: Regulation of macrophage functions. Genetic regulation of protease/antiprotease systems in the lung. The role of urokinase in the modulation of pulmonary inflammation. Protease/cytokine interactions. The role of the urokinase receptor in cell movement and recruitment.
