Assistant/Associate Professor The Division of Pulmonary and Critical Care Medicine at the University of Michigan is seeking two tenure-track physician-scientists at the level of Assistant or Associate Professor with an interest in either the basic or clinical investigation of lung disease. The Division consists of 28 M.D. or Ph.D. faculty members with well-developed research programs in the study of basic mechanisms of infectious, inflammatory and fibrotic lung disease. The Division currently holds Specialized Centers of Research (SCOR) grants in the study of acute lung injury and interstitial lung disease, as well as a Veterans Administration REAP grant and a multidisciplinary training grant in lung biology. Division members also have active collaborations with the Departments of Pathology, Gene Therapy, Microbiology/Immunology, and the School of Public Health at the University of Michigan . Applicants should have a strong record of publication appropriate for the level of appointment and will be expected to develop and maintain an extramurally funded research program.
