

PKD is one of the most common, life threatening "genetic" kidney diseases that affect 1 in 500 people world wide. With PKD, cysts form on the kidneys and eventually lead to kidney failure.
Currently, there is no cure! But there is hope!
Part of the mission of the PKD Foundation is to educate and create awareness about Polycystic Kidney Disease (PKD).
The 2008 Detroit Walk for PKD is coming up on Saturday, September 20, 2008. It will take place at Boulan Park, 3671 Crooks Road, Troy, Michigan, from 10:00 am until 1:00 pm.
Date: Saturday, September 20, 2008
Time: Registration begins at 10:00 am; the Walk is from 11:00 am until 1:00 pm
Location: Boulan Park, Troy, MI (Crooks Road, north of Big Beaver)
Walk: Approximately 2 miles (paved wallkway)
Event: Refreshments, snacks, raffles, drinks will be provided
