Research Summary:

  • Transitional medicine: When and how transition should occur from a pediatric centered care to adult centered care. Development and validation of tools to determine successful tool to help in determining the appropriate time for transition.
  • Cardiovascular Disease in Chronic kidney disease, End stage kidney disease and post-transplant pediatric patients. Non vascular etiology of cardiac dysfunction. Do the current diagnostic tools adequately predict short term cardiovascular dysfunction and/or long term cardiovascular outcome.
  • Is elevated pulmonary pressure in euvolemic dialysis patients a predictor of delayed graft function post-transplant?
