Our Faculty

Our program has over 30 Med-Peds trained faculty who serve as clinic preceptors, inpatient attendings and mentors for our residents. Our faculty is heavily involved in the educational and clinical activities in both departments. As a result, our residents receive the best possible learning opportunities during their four years of training.

Mentoring you today
We take a very personal approach with all of our residents. From the time you interview, to the time you join our program, through the time you graduate, we aim to understand your needs and help you meet your personal goals. As an intern, you will be assigned a Med-Peds advisor who will help guide you through all four years of training. Regularly scheduled meetings provide you with valuable advice on conquering obstacles, finding balance in life and career planning. Residents are also provided opportunities to seek out additional mentoring from our medicine and pediatric faculty. Our attrition rate is one of the lowest in the country, and can be attributed to the mentoring and role modeling of our Med-Peds faculty and the overall strong support provided by the core departments.
