All of our applications will be handled through the Electronic Residency Application Service (ERAS).  Information on this service can be obtained through your Dean's Office or the ECFMG.

Application Requirements

  1. All candidates must participate in the National Resident Matching Program.
  2. All candidates must have taken and present Step I USMLE scores and Step IIa/b USMLE scores when available.
  3. All applicants must have completed at least one year’s clinical training in a LCME or ACGME approved program. This year must include hands-on patient care, for which the student/resident has taken an active role demonstrating responsibility for patient care and outcome.
  4. To be considered for selection, eligible candidates must be either a US citizen, carry a J-1 visa, or have permanent resident status (green card).
  5. Applications must include a Dean's letter and 3-4 letters of recommendation (one should be from the Pediatric Chair and one from the Internal Medicine Chair).
  6. If you have particular interests (e.g. cardiology, adolescent medicine, etc.), please let us know in your personal statement.  We will try to tailor your interviews to your area of interest.
