RESEARCH/PRACTICE INTERESTS
Dr. DePestel practices, teaches, and conducts research in the areas of adult Infectious Diseases. He is currently a Clinical Assistant Professor at the University of Michigan College of Pharmacy and a Clinical Pharmacist in Infectious Diseases at the University of Michigan Health System. He is responsible for precepting pharmacy students and pharmacy residents in Infectious Diseases pharmacotherapy. Dr. DePestel was also recently awarded the Ortho-McNeil Janssen/Pricara Infectious Diseases Residency Award from the Society of Infectious Diseases Pharmacists. Dr. DePestel is currently the Chair of the American College of Clinical Pharmacy (ACCP) Infectious Diseases Practice & Research Network (ID-PRN) and is also co-chair of the membership committee for the Society of Infectious Diseases Pharmacists (SIDP).
