If you are calling for test results, please indicate the name of the test (if you know it), and when and where the test was done. A nurse or your doctor will call you back. Please keep in mind that some of the blood and lab tests performed in the IDC clinic are very specialized, and it may be several days before your results are available. All test results are reviewed by your doctor. If any results are abnormal, or if your medication or treatment plan needs to be changed, someone from the clinic will call you. Otherwise, your doctor will review your results with you at your next visit.

Have the following information ready when you call (734-763-7364, option #7):

• your registration (CPI) number (can be found on your blue hospital card)
• your name and a daytime phone number where you can be reached
• the type of test (if you know it), where and when the test was done

Most results are available within 2-3 days. Others may take 7 days or longer.
