Health Care Visit Costs
Please call your insurance company to make sure your
visit is covered. Some insurance companies require
authorization for certain procedures. Charges include
not only the time spent with the physician, but also
the time spent reviewing slides, records, or previous
medical documentation to provide the best care for
each individual. Additional tests or procedures will
be charged separately from the physician office visit
charge.
Payment
Payment or co-payment is expected at the time of
service. Payment plans will need to be worked out
in advance.
Insurance Coverage Questions
Please call your health insurance company or your
Primary Care Physician (PCP) to inquire about any
insurance coverage questions. If your insurance has
changed or will be changing by your appointment date,
please call your PCP and ask if a referral will be
needed for your appointment. Then contact the University
of Michigan Registration Department at 734-936-4990
or toll free at 1-866-452-9896 to have your information
updated prior to your appointment.
