Myambutol (ethambutol)
Classification: Used to treat TB and to decrease risk of acquiring TB infection.
Form: 100mg and 400mg tablets
Usual Dosage: 400mg once per day
Instructions: Can be taken with or without food. Notify your doctor of all medications being taken prior to starting Myambutol.
Side effects to report to your doctor
- Fever
- Decreased vision
- Nausea / vomiting
- Joint pain
- Headache, dizziness
- Skin changes
- Numbness in extremities
