Prescribed Uses

Prescribed for the treatment of Herpes outbreaks. Keep in mind, it is not a cure for Herpes.

Usual Dosage

4 x 200mg capsules five times per day of 1 x 800mg tablet five times per day

Side Effects that Need Reported to your Doctor Immediately

• Headache
• Confusion
• Lethargy
• Nausea/vomiting
• Rash

Drug Interactions

May cause drowsiness and lethargy when used with AZT.

All of your medications must be taken exactly as prescribed, without skipping or altering doses. Please notify you doctor if you have any problems with these or any of your medicines.
