Clinical Training

Our clinical training program features

Our clinical training program features diversified patient care experience on busy hematology and oncology inpatient services, consultation services, and in our outpatient clinics at the University of Michigan Comprehensive Cancer Center and the nearby Ann Arbor Veterans Affairs Medical Center. Our fellows become experienced in the management of patients undergoing bone marrow transplantation. Fellows are very much at the center of our clinical investigation activities, which include single and multi-institution protocols sponsored by the University of Michigan Comprehensive Cancer Center, the Southwest Oncology Group, and the National Surgical Adjuvant Breast and Bowel Program, among others. Fellows may select options leading to either single or dual board eligibility with either 12 or 18 months of direct patient care activity, respectively.
