UMHS Learning Management Services is very excited to announce the launch of MLearning, the new portal for accessing and tracking learning! As of today (Oct. 3), the Educational Record Keeping System is no longer available. Instead, faculty and staff must use MLearning to access mandatory/required learning (such as fire safety and corporate compliance), Web modules and classes, and to track reports on mandatory requirements. To access MLearning, go to http://mlearning.med.umich.edu or enter through the UMHS Mandatories site: http://www.med.umich.edu/i/mandatories
Update Your Personal Profile
It is important that all faculty and staff go to MLearning to review the information in “My Learning Plan” and correct any errors in the “Personal Information” section. Go to http://mlearning.med.umich.edu/ for instructions on managing and updating your personal information.
Make Sure You Get Credit for Mandatories
From Oct. 17 through Dec.17, all faculty and staff must log in to MLearning to enroll in the required courses listed in the “Planned Learning” section of “My Learning Plan.” If you completed any of the mandatories listed there during the last year, the system will automatically give you credit and move the corresponding learning activity to your transcript as complete. If you don’t complete this enrollment process before Dec 17, you will have to retake your mandatories to get credit. For more information, visit http://mlearning.med.umich.edu/
Additional Info for Managers
MLearning is the place where you can track staff compliance with required and recommended learning. On Oct. 3, you will have limited access until you attend a special class for managers. (See Training section below.) For instructions on how to view your staff’s compliance reports, visit http://mlearning.med.umich.edu/
Training

There are open training sessions, too (we’ll have food!), and special classes for managers, facilitators and instructors. Go to http://www.med.umich.edu/i/mlearning/training.htm for training session dates, times and registration information.
