Our Care Team
Our staff of experienced providers are dedicated to the evaluation and treatment of obese and overweight individuals:
Amy E. Rothberg, MD, PhD, is Assistant Professor of Internal Medicine in the Division of Metabolism, Endocrinology and Diabetes and Director of the Weight Management Clinic. She specializes in the treatment of overweight and obesity, diabetes, and related metabolic diseases. Dr. Rothberg is one of the first in the nation to receive certification in obesity medicine from the American Board of Obesity Medicine.
Andrew T. Kraftson, MD is Assistant Professor of Internal Medicine in the Division of Metabolism, Endocrinolgy and Diabetes and specializes in overweight and obesity, including both medical and pre- and post-bariatric surgery management.
Nevin Ajluni, MD is Clinical Instructor of Internal Medicine in the Division of Metabolism, Endocrinolgy and Diabetes. Her interest is in diabetes and obesity.
Carol Catalano, PA-C is a clinician with over 20 years of experience in primary and diabetes care.
Christine Fowler, MS, RD, Nutrition Specialist, is a registered dietitian with a master of science degree in nutrition and food science, with a focus on obesity research. Her professional interest is in weight management for adults.
Catherine Nay, M.Ed, RD, CHES, Nutrition Specialist, is a Registered Dietitian and Certified Health Education Specialist with a master's degree in health education. She has extensive experience working with children, adolescents and adults in weight management and bariatric surgery.
Nicole Miller, MPH, RD, Research Area Specialist, is a Registered Dietitian with a master of public health degree in human nutrition/dietetics. Her professional interests includes obesity and weight management.
Anna Wong, MPH, RD, Research Area Specialist, is a Registered Dietitian with a master of public health degree in human nutrition/dietetics. Her professional interests are in nutrition education and the various factors that influence weight loss and maintenance.
Anna Konigsberg, LMSW has 10 years’ experience with cognitive behavioral therapy (CBT) and is also trained in motivational interviewing and dialectical behavioral therapy (DBT). She has extensive experience working with people with depression, anxiety and stress overload.
An exercise physiologist is available to design a fitness plan tailored to the individual.
