Along with purchasing tickets to attend the event, supporters of diabetes research can also take advantage of sponsorship and advertising opportunities. The family’s hope is “to donate maximum funds to the University of Michigan and do all we can to find a cure for this disease.”
"We wanted to keep our father's memory alive, and one way to do that is to support causes that our father believed in. We have a lot of respect for the University of Michgian and so did my father. He received wonderful care there late in his life and now we are giving back. The new University of Michigan diabetes research facility and what they are doing there is amazing. We are glad we can help, and I know my father would be, too." —Anthony Rugiero
