We are excited to announce that the University of Michigan’s Division of Metabolism, Endocrinology & Diabetes (MEND) has opened a new, state-of-the-art clinic in the Domino’s Farms complex in northeast Ann Arbor. This relocation to a much larger facility allows us to offer better, more comprehensive and coordinated care for our patients! The new clinic serves adults who have diabetes mellitus; obesity; osteoporosis; abnormalities of the thyroid, adrenal, or the pituitary gland; or other hormone-related issues, as well as adult podiatry patients.

Features of the new clinic:

  • More space! 23,000-square-foot facility with 24 outpatient exam rooms
  • Plenty of convenient, free parking onsite
  • Specialized endocrine testing services
  • Podiatry suite with exam rooms and treatment area
  • Retinal scans for patients with diabetes
  • Pre-conception pregnancy planning program for patients with diabetes
  • Individual diabetes counseling and group classes with certified diabetes educators
  • On-site blood-draw station
  • Opportunities to participate in research studies and clinical trials
