Cancellation Policy
An administrative fee of $50 will be deducted from your registration fee. Refund requests must be received in writing one week prior to the course, no later than July 19, 2013. No refunds will be made thereafter.
Target Audience
This is a clinically focused program designed for primary care health providers interested in the diagnosis and management of clinical problems encountered in primary care. This would include: family physicians, general practitioners, internists, physician assistants, nurse practitioners, and other health care professionals involved in primary care.
Course Objectives
The objective of this course is to update primary care practitioners in current thinking about various diagnostic and therapeutic challenges commonly encountered in clinical practice. Specifically, the subjects in the areas of cardiology, infectious diseases, endocrinology, pulmonology, general medicine and gastroenterology will be reviewed and attendees will be able to implement what they have learned into their daily practice.
Accreditation & Credit Designation
The University of Michigan Medical School is accredited by the Accreditation Council for Continuing Medical Education (ACCME) to provide continuing medical education for physicians. The University of Michigan Medical School designates this live activity for a maximum of 11.5 AMA PRA Category 1 Credits™. Physicians should claim only the credit commensurate with the extent of their participation in the activity. Applications have been submitted to the American Osteopathic Association and the American Academy of Family Physicians for credits. Determination of credit is pending. Other credits by specialty may apply.
