Internal Medicine Certification
and Recertification Board Review

The new University of Michigan Department of Internal Medicine’s Certification and Recertification Board Review will be conducted by distinguished members of the U-M Health System staff, who are renowned in their fields of specialty. The course will cover primary care, every internal medicine subspecialty, and selected outside specialities such as allergy, neurology, and dermatology. Topics will cover current concepts and board-related issues using an organ system approach with emphasis placed on relevant clinical information.

It is our mission to make this the most comprehensive, thought provoking, engaging, and enjoyable educational experience. It will offer the latest developments in internal medicine for physicians preparing for board certification or recertification or for physicians/health care providers who are interested in learning about up to date developments in the field of internal medicine.

The symposium will be conducted by distinguished members of the Cleveland Clinic staff and eminent visiting lecturers who are renowned in their fields of interest.

The symposium has been updated to reflect new developments in the field and incorporate suggestions from prior symposium participants. It will again feature an interactive, computerized audience response system, which will be employed to facilitate audience participation in most lectures.

Topics will cover current concepts and board-related issues using an organ system approach with emphasis placed on relevant clinical information. Lectures will be supplemented by board simulation sessions integrating relevant clinical cases, pathology, and imaging studies.

Target Audience
Target audience includes Internal Medicine residents, practicing physicians (re-certification now required), and other health care professionals wishing to review necessary concepts in internal medicine and keep updated on current developments in the diagnosis and treatment of conditions seen in every day practice.

Registration Fees
Payment is required at time of registration. You are encouraged to register as soon as you are certain of attending, as we cannot guarantee educational materials if you are not preregistered and prepaid by July 1, 2016. You are not considered registered until payment is received. The course fee includes continental breakfast, lunch, refreshments, and a comprehensive syllabus. On-site registration will also be available.

Cancellation Policy
An administrative fee of $50 will be deducted from your registration payment. Refund requests must be received in writing no later than July 1, 2016. No refunds will be made thereafter.
