Target Audience
The conference will be of particular interest to physicians providing adult primary care and to cardiologists. Other health care professionals, including nurse practitioners and physician assistants who work with cardiology patients will also find the information helpful.

Cancellation Policy
An administrative fee of $50 will be deducted from your registration payment. Refund requests must be received in writing one week prior to the course, no later than August 9, 2013. No refunds will be made thereafter.
Course Objectives
At the conclusion of this course, participants will be able to implement:
- better diagnosis and treatment of thoracic outlet syndrome.
- heart failure readmissions and markers of heart failure therapy.
- percutaneous interventions for structural heart disease.
- a better understanding of endocarditis guidelines.
- recent developments in aortic stenosis.
- new approaches to the patient with chronic ischemic disease.
- spectrum of RAS inhibition in heart failure therapy.
- updates with blood pressure and cholesterol guidelines.

The University of Michigan Medical School designates this live activity for a maximum of 12.25 AMA PRA Category 1 Credits™. Physicians should claim only the credit commensurate with the extent of their participation in the activity. Applications have been submitted to the American Osteopathic Association and the American Academy of Family Physicians for credits. Determination of credit is pending.
