My Main Academic Interest: Teaching in a variety of settings. For students: M3 preceptor rounds on inpatient services at University Hospital, M1/M2 precepting for Clinical Foundations of Medicine, Feedback on Clinical Skills, M2 CCA examination, M4 Faculty Advising, and the Clinical Refresher Course for students returning from research and other time away. For residents: staffing residents' clinic, morning report, inpatient rounds
My Administrative Responsibilities include: Academy of Medical Educator Work Group for Membership/Selection/Recognition
What I Do for Fun: Spending time with family and friends, listening to lecture series from The Teaching Company (music, history, language, philosophy), composing piano music and recording CDs, reading, listening to music, college sports and major league baseball, exercising.
