Education
Interpreter Services offers a variety of educational options to both interpreters and Health System staff. Current and aspiring interpreters are invited to develop their skills in our Bridging the Gap Medical Interpreter Training and Medical Terminology and Body Systems courses. Workshops and in-service sessions are also available to interpreters, explaining important medical topics and policies.
We also invite all Health System staff to develop their cultural competency through courses ranging from language instruction to bilingual assistant training. Under the guidance of skilled instructors from our interpreting staff, you will learn about the beautiful languages and fascinating cultures that make up our diverse community.
