Continuing EducationThe new Patient Service Centers offer our patients and their families a one-stop resource for registration, directions, billing inquiries, financial counseling and other information. The centers will also offer improved efficiency and accessibility for disabled patients. Phase 1 of the project, located at Taubman Level 1, will be completed at the end of May. Phases II and III will be completed at a later date and are being designed with the same goals in mind.

On Wednesday, June 3, join colleagues in the Taubman Center/University Hospital lobby for the dedication of “Rotations” by artist Douglas Hollis, a new sculpture dedicated to the memory of the U-M Survival Flight/Transplant team that was tragically lost during a mission in June 2007. More information on the event and the sculpture will be available on the Daily Bulletin events calendar.

Are you interested in learning self-care techniques to treat chronic pain? Looking for ways to ensure your family is living a heart-healthy lifestyle? Health System faculty and staff are invited to attend two free seminars sponsored by MHealthy and delivered by our very own experts. These events take place in May and June. National Nurses WeekNational Nurses Week was celebrated from May 6-12 to recognize the commitment nurses make every day for their patients, their communities and their country. Commuter route, Mitchell-Glazier, UMHS Intercampus and KMS Shuttle routes will maintain the same level of service during spring and summer months Continuing Educationas in the fall and winter months, and will no longer decrease service schedules as in previous years. However, the Northwood route service day will end at 12:25 a.m. instead of 2:40 a.m. There are no changes in the parking system during the summer.
