"The assistance with wayfinding decreases the stress of a strange environment and stressful time in ones life. It is also helpful to not be "pointed" in the right direction or to be given a map to an unknown destination, but to be escorted and not "dropped off", but to have an actual person to assure check in is complete and any questions addressed. Please don't loose this valuable service."
"What a class act U of M has. What a wonderful experience. It was very easy to talk to the Dr. (C. Schuetze). What a nice person. He took all the time in the world explaining to me about my cancer. God bless you all!"
"The medical center can be very intimidating, especially to people already wondering what life holds. I was very impressed. I have a unique insight as I have been a rehab hospital unit administrator for the past 22 years."
"During times of great personal/family despair, it is great to have a load off your mind in a strange scary place that the hospital can be. It's great to have a human being instead of a piece of paper or an electronic voice guiding you. Thank you very much for your concern and caring."
"Our guide was just outstanding. We were made at ease and were welcomed and treated not like a registration number, but a person. Both my wife and I want to say thank you."
