Letter from the Editor
 Welcome to the first issue of 2008! With the New Year, the Inside View staff has renewed its commitment to providing news you can use—articles that give you a broader perspective on your workplace, inform you of resources available to you professionally and personally, and let you know what’s going on around the Health System.
As with any effective employee newsletter, the best story ideas usually come from readers. In fact, a number of articles in this issue started as reader recommendations, including: this issue’s Taking Care of our Own article, Keeping Faith; an employee education and development piece; the lean story Everything in Its Place; and the article Putting Families First.
