Why Innovation Bridge Exists

The Innovation Bridge is designed to support the formation of partnerships between vaccine developers that are researching products for the developing world and vaccine manufacturers in developing countries.  Such partnerships will help make new vaccine ideas available for children and adults in the developing world more quickly and efficiently than in the past.

The Innovation Bridge team will concentrate on the vaccine priorities of the Gates Foundation, including vaccines against HIV/AIDS, malaria, tuberculosis, diarrheal diseases and pneumonia-related diseases.

The Innovation Bridge is led by a group of vaccine researchers and policy experts at the University of Michigan in the United States, directed by Matthew Davis, MD, MAPP.  You can read more about the Innovation Bridge team by clicking here.

You can contact the IB team by email: innovationbridge@med.umich.edu
