The University of Michigan Injury Center is one of 11 Centers for Disease Control-designated Injury Control Research Centers. Working closely with multidisciplinary faculty, with regional education and public health partners, and in close coordination with the CDC, the Injury Center works to generate and share new findings that can impact both policy and individual behavior. We conduct rigorous research on injury prevention, produce evidence-based findings, support education and training in the field, and reach out to share findings with practitioners, researchers, and public health professionals.
The Center's core research strengths are injury-related interventions, especially those using computer and media-based technology.
