Research Description

CD4 T cells play a key role during an adaptive immune response. We
have shown that CD4 T cells can be selected by MHC class II expressed
on thymocytes. CD4 T cells generated through this pathway exhibit
distinguish effector functions from the conventional CD4 T cells which
are selected on thymic epithelial cells. I am currently working on the
thymic developmental mechanism as well as immune response mediated by
these CD4 T cells.
