Research Description

My project centers on the immune signaling events occurring proximal to
endosomal compartments of professional antigen presentation cells. I
am studying the effects of endosome damaging particles on various
macrophage activities including activation marker upregulation, antigen
presentation, and cytokine expression. Eventually, I hope to apply the
knowledge acquired in this project to vaccine formulation research.
