The Immunology seminar series, held during the Fall and Winter terms, includes formal presentations by speakers from outside the University of Michigan. Speakers for the 2006-2007
year included: Students are given
the opportunity to meet with the speakers at a luncheon immediately following

Sperling, PhD, University of Chicago, 3/5/08, West Lecture Hall, 3697 MSII Eric Pamer, MD, Memorial Sloan-Kettering Cancer Cntr Inst., 3/19/08, NLH, 3695 MSII Mitchell Kronenberg, PhD, La Jolla Institute, 4/30/08, North Lecture Hall, 3695 MSII The Immunology Program also sponsors an annual retreat, which is an opportunity for the University's immunology community to get together in an off-campus location and for students and research fellows to present their research. This year's Retreat keynote speaker is Ulrich H. von Andrian, MD, who is Mallinckrodt Professor of Immunopathology in the Dept. of Pathology at the Harvard Medical School, as well as Senior Investigator at The CBR Institute for Biomedical Research. http://cbr.med.harvard.edu/uva |
