The Program in Biological Sciences determines the requirements for admission, which include:
- Bachelor's degree in a biological science, chemistry, or a related field
- Extensive research experience in the biological sciences (at least three months)
- A competitive grade point average
- Graduate Record Examination scores
- Letters of recommendation
- Interview
Most successful applicants will have had a thorough preparation in chemistry, physics, mathematics, and biology including undergraduate courses in genetics and biochemistry.
