Who We Are
For decades, University of Michigan researchers have studied health care from every angle and tested new ways to make it better, safer, and more equitable. Now, more than 400 of those researchers have come together to form the U-M Institute for Healthcare Policy & Innovation, or IHPI. Drawn from 14 U-M schools and colleges and five partner organizations
, IHPI’s members are working to answer crucial questions that could transform health care and health policy in the U.S. and abroad.
Learn more about the building blocks that make up IHPI's foundation:
- Members: Health services researchers that seek a collaborative, inter-disciplinary environment for advancing their research.
- Hubs: State-of-the-art core resources for consultation and project planning made available to all investigators.
- Partners: U-M Schools, Colleges & Departments, and public and private research and policy organizations.
