Participate in Research
Do you want to participate in research? We are currently conducting surveys to study how Crohn’s disease and ulcerative colitis affect your college experience. This is a great opportunity to be heard!
Eligibility: You can take part if you are an undergraduate student 17 years old or older at a residential 4-year college or university in the United States.
Your Involvement: All you have to do is fill out an online survey with multiple-choice questions about your experiences with Crohn’s or colitis and being in college. Completing the survey should not take more than 45 minutes.
This study is sponsored by the University of Michigan Medical School and has been IRB approved. All your answers will be kept strictly confidential, and we will not keep any personal information about you that would let anyone identify you.
Upon completing the survey, please ask 2 of your college friends who do not have Crohn’s or colitis, or any other illnesses, to participate too. Please choose friends who seem the most like you – similar age, study habits, background, etc.
The results of this study will serve to inform future programs and in the development of additional sources to aid college students with IBD.
Thanks for taking part!
