RESEARCH OPPORTUNITIES
IN THE HAMMER LAB...

The Hammer Laboratory is a fertile zone of research for graduate students, postdoctoral candidates, and undergraduates. State-of-the-art techniques and methods are employed in the lab to study adrenocortical stem cell biology, adrenal-specific signaling in development and cancer as well as the function of the transcriptional regulator SF-1 and Dax-1.
Techniques including:

PCR

RNA analysis (Northern blotting, RNase protection
protein analysis (PAGE, Western blotting, phosphopeptide mapping)
cDNA cloning
cell culture & gene expression
genechip microarray analysis
immunofluorescence and confocal microscopy
transgenic and KO mice
radioimmunoassay.
