Jerry PerrineOLD TIME PIANO
Jerry Perrine Jerry Perrine listen

Jerry Perrine specializes in the classic American piano styles of ragtime, traditional jazz, blues and boogie-woogie. As a teenager, Perrine became fascinated with the ragtime piano music of Scott Joplin and others, and he taught himself how to play ragtime piano. As he studied the music and the history of that piano style, he learned of other styles and pianists such as Eubie Blake, Jelly Roll Morton, Fats Waller and many others. He learned how to play and compose in each style, and he has enjoyed performing old time piano music for nearly thirty years. Recently, he has been a featured performer at the Greenfield Village Ragtime Street Fair in Dearborn, Michigan.

Harmony Bones
Harmony Bones is a quintet of long-time veterans of the Ann Arbor folk music scene. The band consists of Laz Slomovits (of Gemini) Tom Voiles and Linda Teaman (of Nutshell), Jeanne Mackey and Eric Fithian. Royal Garden TrioVINTAGE SWING
Royal Garden Trio Royal Garden Trio listen

The Royal Garden Trio plays swing music reminiscent of the 1930’s, but with an ear toward the future of improvisational jazz. The partnership of Brian Delaney on guitar, Tom Bogardus on tenor guitar and clarinet, and Mike Karoub on cello is synergetic. Blending a sound of the Parisian café with the American nightclub, they manage to be fresh, original and sophisticated without being exotic. The group covers an exciting repertoire including traditional jazz, classic show tunes and gypsy-style swing. You might have heard the Royal Garden Trio's original music as the soundtrack for the DIA's TV commercials, "Let Yourself Go".
