SWING BLUES
by the Bluescasters
Members of the Bluescasters band all share a common creative desire
to produce original, high energy songs. With all four band members
having over 30 years of experience performing and recording, the
group has developed a team approach to creating new songs. Using
instrumental interplay, storyline lyrics and vocal harmonies, their
songs are lively and engaging. With Kerry Adams on guitar and vocals,
Harry Rodman on drums and vocals, Phil Ryski on harmonica, piano
and guitar, and Doug Wolgat on bass, their creative chemistry is
hot. Join the Bluescasters in the sun for the first Courtyard performance
of the season.

FIDDLE
MUSIC
by the Saline Fiddlers
Now in their thirteenth season, the Saline Fiddlers began with a
simple idea: introduce an alternative style of music education to
public school students. The group has grown into a model of instruction
and motivation that is being emulated across the nation. The Saline
Fiddlers present an energetic, polished stage show that includes
music, song and dance from the traditions of American folk fiddle,
bluegrass, jazz, western swing and Celtic music. The performers,
all students at Saline High School, earn their places through competitive
auditions based on musical ability and personal integrity.
