by The Borodin Society
The University of Michigan Medical School has always had a large number of medical students with musical training, and here is a chance to hear some of them perform. The Borodin Society of chamber musicians is named after Alexander Borodin (1833-1887), a Russian physician-scientist and musician whose dual pursuit of medical science and music is continued by the Borodin Society today.

by The Arbor Consort

In Renaissance costume, The Arbor Consort will perform love songs in English, French, German, and Italian from this classic era. Performing a cappella in four-part harmonies, this vocal ensemble's songs of romance express different aspects of love: love found, love lost, love scorned, and departing from the one you love.
