U-M School of Music's Performance Outreach Program
Lucy Head, a senior student in vocal performance from the U-M School
of Music, Theatre and Dance, will conduct a soprano performance
including works by Debussy, Mozart, Schubert, and Strauss. Originally
from Lansing, Ms. Head recently appeared in Verdi's Rigoletto
and La Traviata in Novafeltria, Italy. She will be accompanied
on the piano by Matthew Gemmill.

CHAMBER
MUSIC
by The Borodin Society
The University of Michigan Medical School has always had a large
number of medical students with musical training, and here is a
chance to hear some of them perform. The Borodin Society of chamber
musicians is named after Alexander Borodin (1833-1887), a Russian
physician-scientist and musician whose dual pursuit of medical science
and music is continued by the Borodin Society today.

CHORAL RENAISSANCE MUSIC

In Renaissance costume, The Arbor Consort will perform love songs
in English, French, German, and Italian from this classic era. Performing
a cappella in four-part harmonies, this vocal ensemble's
songs of romance express different aspects of love: love found,
love lost, love scorned, and departing from the one you love.

The Greg McKinney Trio
Greg McKinney, known often as "Super G" McKinney, has
lots of experience in the Metro Detroit music scene, playing with
many different bands. McKinney loves to play Motown, Rhythm &
Blues, and Classic Old School. In addition to working at UMHS, he
leads this jazz trio with the Hammond Organ.
