Turner Senior Resource Center 2401 Plymouth Road Ann Arbor, MI 48105  Turner Senior Resource Center (TSRC) houses the community outreach programs of the University of Michigan Geriatrics Center. It is a pioneering program designed to improve and enhance the quality of life for older adults and their families.

The center is staffed with social workers, volunteers and other
professionals who specialize in working with older adults. The center
brings together the Housing
Bureau for Seniors, Learning
in Retirement, Silver
Club,*Asian Outreach Program,
Caregiver Resource Center, **Gallery 55+ and
many other established and new Turner Senior Resource Center community
programs.
Depending on the day, you will find writing groups, support groups, healthy cooking demonstrations, health lectures, exercise classes, computers available for learning and practice, social groups such as bridge, chess and Mah Jong, the N.E. Senior Band and special events such as the Turner Picnic. Blood Pressure is offered once a week as is assistance with Medicare Counseling and Advance Directives. The Keys to Independent Living Display in the lobby displays a wide range of assistive devices and adaptive aids that allow for ease of movement and mobility. Volunteers Needed and Appreciated If you have time to share, there are many ways that your skills can be of assistance. At the Turner Senior Resource Center, our volunteers help by greeting, serving on committees, answering the phone, cataloging our resource library, helping with Silver Club, leading Learning in Retirement study groups, setting up for meetings and more! Parking & Directions The Turner Senior Resource Center is located at 2401 Plymouth Road , Suite C in Ann Arbor . The building is between the Islamic Center and Key Bank. You may enter the parking area from either Plymouth Road or Traverwood Dr. The Center's entrance is on the west side of the building, facing the Islamic Center. Handicap parking is available. An AATA bus stop is located nearby on Plymouth Road .

*Asian Americans Outreach Program
Thanks to funding from AAA1B and AAACF, this program helps Korean
and Chinese older adults obtain and sustain an improved quality
of life through programs such as exercise, cultural arts, computer
class, health lecture series and medicare individual counselling.

**Gallery 55+ located in the Turner
Senior Resource Center (TSRC) exhibits two-dimensional art that
represents the creativity of gifted artists aged fifty-five and
older. The gallery also provides a place for community members of
any age to view the art and to participate in special gallery events
as they are scheduled.
