Volunteering

If you have time to share, there are many ways that you can help. At the Geriatrics Center Clinic, volunteers serve as peer counselors, generate and carry out workshops, and greet visitors and patients at the front door of the Geriatrics Center. Call the Social Work office, (734)764-2556, if you are interested in volunteering at the Geriatrics Center.

Volunteer Opportunities

The Turner Senior Resource Center puts volunteers to work answering the telephone, managing the resource library, helping with Silver Club for people with memory loss, leading study groups, setting up for meetings and more. Call (734) 998-9353 to volunteer at the Turner Senior Resource Center.

Giving

The Geriatrics Center is committed to helping older adults continue to live independent and productive lives. If you are interested in making a gift to the Geriatrics Center please contact Kathy Fitzgerald at (734) 936-2156. Or you may contact her by email at: kmfitz@umich.edu
