Funds for Unmet Patient Needs

The Chomet-Robbins Fund, established through the generosity of Bernhard Chomet and supported by his family, provides emergency funds for older adults. Social workers may access the fund for their patients for such essential needs as medicine, groceries, transportation, rent, and other needs that affect health and well-being. A receipt or billing statement is needed to access the fund. A Turner Geriatric Clinic intake social worker coordinates the requests.

The Ann Arbor Area Community Foundation provides older adults in the Ann Arbor community with funds for unmet needs. Turner Geriatric Clinic manages of these funds for seniors. Social workers may access the funds for their clients. A receipt or billing statement is needed to access the fund. Requests for funds may be made by contacting the intake social worker.
