The University of Michigan is pleased to offer a comprehensive
Food Allergy Service to assist you in caring for your patients
with suspected foods allergies. Our program offers a balanced approach
consisting of a variety of services available to patients. In addition
to Allergists, we also have a dedicated Food Allergy Educator,
Registered Dietician and Medical Social Worker. Coping with severe
food allergies also places a significant burden on patients and
families. We are able to refer to The University
of Michigan Anxiety Disorders Clinic as well if necessary.
We will evaluate all types of patients who believe they are allergic
or sensitive to specific foods. We provide educational and nutritional
support to assist patients and families in safely navigating day-to-day
life. This would include those with anaphylaxis, eczema and other
suspected food sensitivities.
To schedule a patient in our clinic, please call 734-647-5940
or 1-888-229-2409. Please review the list
of medications which need to be discontinued prior to the evaluation.
Thank you for entrusting us with the care of your patients. |
