Academic Financial Planning & Analysis
Leads business and financial activity in coordination with Medical School Administration and provides financial analysis, reporting and forecasting support specific to the Health System’s academic missions of research and education.
Key Functions / Oversight Areas:
- Allocation model for distributing General Funds to Medical School departments
- Tuition modeling for Medical Students, Graduate Programs and Undergraduate Teaching
- Medical School rent rate policy
- Provost budget submissions and quarterly reporting for the Medical School
- Medical School KPI’s and standardized management reporting
- Medical School FTE calculations and reporting
- Support the Medical School’s quarterly rolling forecast process
- Various analytic support for Senior Medical School leaders and departments
