Background:
Dr. Djuric is a research professor at the University of Michigan Department of Family Medicine and performs research at the Cancer Center in the U-M Medical Center.
Research Interests:
Dr. Djuric's current research focuses on cancer prevention and the lifestyle changes that can be used to reduce cancer risk. This research is highly interdisciplinary and encompasses both behavioral aspects of prevention as well as laboratory-based research on biomarkers of cancer risk. Included in this work is the development of new dietary intervention methods, including those that can be used through primary care, the conduct and validation of nutritional assessments, and development of laboratory-based approaches for detection of appropriate biomarkers of health risks.
