Background:
Dr. Legocki is a research investigator at the University of Michigan Department of Family Medicine. She began in July 2008 as the first postdoctoral research fellow to take part in the Department’s research-mentoring program. With Barbara D. Reed, M.D., M.S.P.H., professor, Dr. Legocki continues to work on the project “Longitudinal Population Based Study of Vulvodynia,” and is pursuing research on the effectiveness of a psychosexual intervention when added to the treatment of vulvodynia, and a mixed-methods research project to assess childhood experiences with urogenital pain in women ages 18 to 30.
