The University of Michigan Department of Family Medicine seeks residency-trained, board-certified diverse family physicians for full-time clinician-educator positions. Preference given but not required for faculty who will include obstetrics. Department features special programs in obstetrics, gynecology, women's health, office procedures (ultrasound, vasectomy, colposcopy, dermatology). Significant teaching responsibilities for medical students/residents. Collaboration available in department research programs.

Open faculty positions at the University of Michigan in the areas of Diet, Exercise and Obesity in Prevention, Health Behaviors and Translations to Primary Care research. The Family Medicine Department is expanding our research faculty. Candidates should have an MD and/or PhD or equivalent. High priority will be given to candidates who display enthusiasm for research, with interest that overlaps with those of current faculty members (http://www.med.umich.edu/fammed/research/index.htm). The successful candidate will be expected to establish a career development and mentoring plan that has a high likelihood of leading to an independent, externally-funded research program.
